AKIN ELDES

ZEYNEP EYLÜL ÜÇER

She was born on September 16th 1985 in İstanbul, Turkey. She spent her chilshood in Teşvikiye. Between 1991-1997, she used to be the member of TRT child chorus. After attending to primary school for a year she moved to Antalya with her family. She played basketboll in the second league for a long time.
What activated her interest in music was to get a guitar given by Sinan Kaynakçı as a present. Her mother is a music teacher and she gave Zeynep solfej and armani lessons.
She used to come to Istanbul time to time to visit while she was living in Antalya, but in 2005, she moved back to Istanbul permanently. She is currently studying at Istanbul Tecnical University Conservatoir.

HAMİ ÜNLÜ

He was born on May 12th 1985. After his high school education in Notre Dame de Sion, went to Galatasaray University to study economy and he is stil studying at the same university.
His music life got started in drum clup which he joined in 2000. He received music lessons which gave him the opportunity to meet some well known teachers like Hakan Açıkalın, Bülent Akbay, Alişan Topaloşlu ve Berke Özgümüş. He was interested in jazz and drums when he was at high school. He attended some workshops with his teacher Phillipe Poussard who is a teacher in the university of Paris Conservatoire. He became a member of Pinhani in 2006. He also performs in Akın Eldes’s trio time to time.

SELİM AYDIN

He was born on May 16th 1981. He spent his childhood in Adana. The first step he made towards his professional music life was classical guitar lessons he took at primary school. While he was in high school, he performed in concerts and competitions with his own group. He met Sinan Kaynakçı when he was at university and he became a member of Van Baster with him.
He studied armoni with Cem Nasuhoğlu. He couldnt play with Pinhani during the recordings of their first album as he was abroad. Then he was a soldier when the group went on an anatolia tour. But now, since the first debut,he has been working with Pinhani.

CEM AKSEL

He was born on February 17th 1963 in Ankara. His interest in jazz and drums had become visible when he was in primary school in İstanbul. When he finished high school, he became a professional. In 1983, he attended to Swiss Jazzschool which was in Swish Bern, but he couldn’t continue to study there owing to some reasons. From the day on, the artist who has been making his living with music, played in more than 60 albums with several different singers and artists.
He has almost worked with all the jazz artist in Turkey. Currently, Cem Aksel has been giving performance with Bülent Ortaçgil and many other jazz artists in different places. Cem Aksel performed both in the first and second albüm of Pinhani as a drummer. He still plays live with Pinhani at their concert performance time to time.

DEMİRHAN BAYLAN

Demirhan Baylan started his professional career playing in Bulutsuzluk Özlemi as a bas guitarist. He released 3 solo-albüm in 90’years (Kazık Marka, Hayallerimin Tepeleri, Kocakarının Dansı). He organised several workshops for groups and names like Kesmekeşler, Mask, Mehmet Güreli, Akın Eldes, Funk Doctors. Between the period 1995-1996, he studied engineering at Berklee College of music production.
After that, he released 2 more solo albums in Turkey in 1999.(1000 yıl, rengarenklerin). He lectured in sound engineering classes in Bilgi and Yıldız Tecnical University. He owned a music recording studio with a name ‘’Deney Evi/experimantal house). He organised series of workshops in the studio with Yavuz Çetin, Oğuz Büyükberber, Tolga Tüzün, Çağlayan Yıldız, Cengiz Baysal, Şevket Akıncı, Ayşe Tütüncü and accompanied them on their live performances.
He released his solo albüm which is named ‘’Anlamlı Hatalar’’ (Meaningful Mistakes ) produced by his own firm ‘’DB LTD’’
He worked with Keşmekeşler Group as their producteur. Since 2005, he has been continuing his workshops. He tried an alternative method as a marketing system called ‘’BY PASS’ for his new albüm’’ Deli Fatma’nın Bilmeceleri’’which was released in 2005.
He played bass guitar in Pinhani’s second albüm ‘’Zaman Beklemez’’and he sometimes plays at Pinhani’s live performances.

CEYHUN KAYA

He was born on August 1th 1979 in Samsun. He started playing bağlama (which is an instrument with tree double strings) in 1997, pipe in 1999, and clarinet in 2000. He moved to Ankara in 2001. He is fond of playing flute saxophone, guitar and some others instruments. He accompanied to several Turkish and foreign musician who had made some kind of local musics ( like blacksea’s music, the balkan’s musics, and alternative rock musics. )
He has been working with Pinhani since January 2007. He still lives in Ankara and also works with other rock groups as well as Pinhani.

CAN ÖMER UYGAN

He was born in Izmir in 1982. He attended to Anatolian University, conservatoire, school of music trompette’’with Erkan Ugur.
He took place with ‘’Bİ-Bap’’ in the first amateur jazz festival. He also took place in the festivals both in and out of Turkey with Gevende which is a famous rock group. He gave concerts in the first international Trompet Festival in Greece /Kalavriyta with Anatolian Trompet Quartet ‘’and ‘’Kalavrita Brass and Woodwind Course’’and also many in Turkey. He played with Pinhani in their second albüm ‘’Zaman Beklemez’’ and they perform together at their stage appearances time to time.
