Pinhâni…

Pinhâni released their first album called “İnandığın Masallar” in April 2006 and managed to have a significant place in Turkish music. Their new album “Zaman Beklemez” was released on April 25th 2008. Guitarist Akın Eldes, drummer Cem Aksel and bass guitarist Demirhan Baylan who also played in the first album recorded the second album. Addition to these precious musicians, there are some other important artists contributed to the second albus album with their enstrumants.

Serkan Çağrı and Oğuz Büyükberber played clarinets, Hasan Gözetlik trombone and trumpet, Can Ömer Uygan also trumpet, Yinon Muallem percussion and Sunay Özgür played bass guitar. Erkan Oğur also played cümbüş as a guest musician in the album. Both albums were recorded in Tanju Duru’s studio and they aimed to maintain the sound they had in the first album with the second album by adding new values.

After their first album was released, they succeeded to give almost hundred concerts and have a great deal of fans. In the summer of 2007, with their soundtrack of the tv series called “Kavak Yelleri”, they became well known all around the country. Some of their songs like “Hele bi gel”,  “Beni al”, “Bir anda” and “Ne güzel güldün” were played in “Kavak Yelleri” drama. They will put these last two new song played in the series in their coming album. As well as these two songs, the modern belly dance music song “Düğün” which they play in the concerts already with two different versions and the group’s one of the most striking song in rock sound, “Ağlama” will be presented in new album.

Most of their songs in the first album became hit songs like “İstanbul’da”, “Hele bi gel”, “Beni al”, “Ben nası büyük adam olucam”, “Dön bak dünyaya”. They play the songs from the new album in the concerts so that they can reshape the songs and introduce them to the fans. Pinhani is one of those few bands that plays only their songs in the concerts which helped them to have a special place in music industry.

Pinhâni have been sensitive about appearing on media regarding to their prosessions but nothingelse. They put an extraordinary efforts on making the new album “Zaman Beklemez” in order to produce a long lasting album. The album “Zaman Beklemez” released with the tag “Piccatura” and is distributed by Balet Records. Pinhâni went on a tour with the staff – vocalist Sinan Kaynakcı, bass guitarist Zeynep Eylül Üçer, drummer Hami Ünlü, guitarists Selim Aydın and Akın Eldes- which enabled them to get together with their fans all around Turkey.
